Editor/Publisher Celtic Guide magazine June, 2019 This month we have received some incredible pieces of art created by Paul Nixon. I'll let him speak for himself: I am an artist/sculptor that works in various mediums in Greensboro, North Carolina. Originally from Clondalkin, County Dublin I was inspired by my grandmother as a young child by her belief in the fairy world in the mountains of County Sligo. Three of the four images I am submitting are cement sculptures that I created and then incorporated them into digitally created settings. Many years before, like so many Irish leaving those shores, I pursued a dream in foreign parts, never realizing that one day my dream would reconnect me with home in such a way. Sincerely.
